Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to your use of Card Colosseum (ccleague.live), your account, and the events and leagues you take part in through it. Card Colosseum is operated by RJ Breaks in Illinois ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

1. Who can use Card Colosseum

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has agreed to these Terms on your behalf and is responsible for your use of the site and for any payments made.

2. Your account

• Give accurate information, including your real name, email and the game account IDs you enter, and keep them up to date.
• Each person may have only one account. Don't create an account for someone else without their permission.
• Keep your password private. You're responsible for everything done with your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else has accessed it.

3. Emails and communications

By creating an account, you agree to receive emails about your account and the events you take part in. These include verification codes, temporary passwords, registration confirmations and receipts, event changes and cancellations, and important notices about the site. These emails are part of the service and can't be turned off. Optional emails, such as event announcements and news, can be turned off anytime from your account's Email Preferences or the unsubscribe link in any email.

4. Events and registration

• Event dates, times, formats, capacity and prizes are listed on our calendar and may change. We'll try to email registered players about any changes.
• We may cancel, reschedule or cap any event, and may refuse or cancel a registration at our discretion.
• Some events are run through a game publisher's organized play system (for example, Bandai TCG+). You're responsible for making sure the account IDs you give us are correct and in good standing with that publisher.

5. Entry fees and refunds (no refund policy)

• Entry fees for paid events are charged in full when you register and are processed securely by Stripe. Other purchases made through the site, such as monthly passes, are also charged when you buy them.
• All entry fees and purchases are final and non-refundable. We do not give refunds, partial refunds or credits for no-shows, late arrivals, schedule conflicts, illness, weather, dropping out during an event, disqualification, removal for breaking these Terms, or unused time on a pass.
• The only exception: if we cancel an event, you'll receive a full refund of that event's entry fee to your original payment method. A change of time, format or prizes is not a cancellation.
• Registrations and passes can't be transferred to another person or event unless we agree to it in writing.
• By completing a payment, you confirm that you have read and agree to this no refund policy. If you have a problem with a charge, please email us first. Disputing a valid, non-refundable charge with your bank or card issuer (a "chargeback") may lead to your account being suspended.

6. Conduct at events and on the site

We want every event to be fun and fair. When you take part, you agree to:

• follow our store rules, staff instructions, and the official tournament rules and policies of the game being played
• treat other players, spectators and staff with respect, with no harassment, threats, hate speech or abusive behavior
• play fair: no cheating, collusion, bribery, stalling, marked cards or misrepresenting results
• not interfere with the site, including by trying to access other people's accounts, scraping it, or disrupting its operation

If you break these rules, we may issue a warning, apply a game penalty, disqualify you (with no refund, as described in section 5), remove you from the store, adjust your league standings or prizes, or suspend or close your account.

7. Leagues, standings and prizes

• Standings, points and results are recorded by our staff. We'll correct mistakes we find, and our corrections are final.
• Prizes, including store credit, product and passes, are awarded at our discretion according to the rules announced for each league or event. Prizes have no cash value unless we say otherwise and can't be exchanged or transferred.
• We may change league rules, scoring or prize structures, and will announce any changes before they take effect when we can.
• Your name, results and decks may be shown publicly on the standings, as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Your property and safety

You are responsible for your own cards, decks, bags and other belongings at our events. We are not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged personal property. Trades and sales between players are solely between those players.

9. Trademarks

Magic: The Gathering, One Piece Card Game, Gundam Card Game, Union Arena, Riftbound, Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh! and other game names and logos belong to their respective owners. Card Colosseum and RJ Breaks are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by those companies, except where a publisher officially sanctions a specific event.

10. Disclaimers

The site and its standings, calendar and deck tools are provided "as is" and "as available." We try to keep everything accurate and online, but we don't guarantee that the site will be error-free, uninterrupted or secure, or that event information will always be current.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, RJ Breaks and its owners, staff and volunteers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or participation in events. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in entry fees during the 12 months before the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

12. Indemnification

You agree to cover any claims, losses or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) that RJ Breaks faces because of your breach of these Terms or your conduct at our events.

13. Ending your account

You can stop using the site at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account by emailing Cardcolosseum8040@gmail.com. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms. Sections 5, 7, 8 and 10 to 14 continue to apply after your account ends.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Illinois, and you agree to those courts' jurisdiction.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll change the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we'll notify you by email or on the site. If you keep using the site after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
