Cookie Policy
Last updated October 20, 2026
This policy explains how Card Colosseum (ccleague.live), operated by RJ Breaks, uses cookies and similar technologies. It's part of our Privacy Policy.
The short version: we use only the cookies the site needs to work, such as keeping you logged in and protecting forms. We do not use advertising, analytics, tracking or social media cookies, and we don't let third parties place cookies through our site.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser. The website reads them back on later visits to remember things, such as the fact that you're logged in. "Local storage" is a similar browser feature that saves small amounts of information on your device.
2. Cookies we use
All of the cookies below are strictly necessary. The site can't work properly without them, so they don't require your consent and can't be switched off on our site.
| Name | What it's for | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|
| sessionid | Keeps you logged in to your account (or the staff portal) as you move between pages. | 2 weeks, or until you log out |
| csrftoken | Security. It protects forms such as sign-up, login and event registration from being submitted by other websites. | 1 year |
| messages | Shows a one-time notice after an action, like "Your email is verified." | Deleted once shown |
3. Your choice: accept or decline
Our cookie banner lets you accept or decline optional cookies. Today we don't use any optional cookies, so both choices work the same way. If we ever add optional cookies, such as analytics, they will only be used if you chose Accept. Declining never affects your ability to use the site.
Essential cookies (section 2) are used either way, because logging in and submitting forms can't work without them.
Your browser's local storage remembers your choice (cc_cookie_consent) so the banner doesn't keep reappearing. It stays on your device and is never sent to us.
4. Third parties
We don't load advertising networks, analytics tools or social media widgets. When you pay an entry fee, you're sent to Stripe's secure checkout page. Stripe may set its own cookies there to process your payment and prevent fraud, under Stripe's Cookie Policy. Links to other websites, such as publisher sites or our Linktree, are covered by those sites' own policies.
5. Managing cookies
You can view, block or delete cookies in your browser's settings. If you block the cookies listed above, you won't be able to log in, register for events or submit forms on our site, but you can still browse the calendar and standings. Clearing your browser's site data also resets your cookie choice, and the banner will ask again.
6. Changes to this policy
If we start using any cookies that aren't strictly necessary, such as analytics, we'll update this policy first and only set them for visitors who choose Accept.
